I don't roleplay off the bat; I like to see if we're compatible first. Characters must be at least 21+ (aged up if need be). I typically write third person multi-paragraph+/novella in one-on-one roleplay, especially when familiar with someone, and this is what I am looking for. In groups, I write third person semi-paragraph/paragraph+. I only want to roleplay with canon characters (unless in groups). Romance is not necessarily out of the question, but it requires in character development & chemistry, and I won't engage in roleplays where romance is an expectation. If it becomes a thing, I need it to be a slow burn or I will lose interest. I'm up for crossovers, alternate universes, merging my characters into other universes, etcetera. I don't self-insert, and my characters all have different personalities, preferences, and sexualities. Roleplayer of 25+ years.

25+ only. I'm in my later 30s. I'm a slow replier, and usually take anywhere for one to three days to reply. I enjoy friendly out of character chatter (about roleplay, nerdy stuff, real life, whatever!), and need to be able to discuss roleplays as they're in progress.
